hey guys i wanna start getting into welding its looks pretty hard but the end product looks good when u make something thats original .i wanted to know what u guys looker for in itermediate level welders and how much would a whole setup cost for good welding???

 

Take a class first if you have no previous experience.

Depends. Classes around here are usually 150ish.

 

im also new to welding and am looking at buying my first one to practice on...

i plan on just doing some charge pipes or exhuast pipes for my car,

are 90 AMP welders decent for the price, but can still turn out 1/2 decent product?

i just need something that welds as opposed to taking it somewhere and paying 75+ an hour to have something welded that doesnt need to look pretty

 

Hey I'm in the Chicago Area, and I think COD college of Dupage has a great welding progra/shop program or at least that's what my friend told me (he taught me)
