sorry this is vague, but what should I do??
im just looking for a little advice, I have a 1994 prelude si, and I was thinking about doing all this this summer.........add headers, high flow cat, cat-back exhaust, intake, and pullys........would all of this add torque and hp or would it just make me lose low end???.........i have no clue what to do and please do not start going SEARCH!!!
my preference is the stock automatic cams that come with the j-spec motors, and i dont know what state youre in or if youre tryin to stay up to smog par, but hi-flo cats, and aftermarket cams, well mess with youre smogging in some states. or you can just change it when the time comes.
im taking it to e-check with all the stock parts tomorrow morning.........so then iu got 2 years before i gotta go back........and why arent h23 mods good???
quick answer........its a lower model engine for the prelude.
not many aftermarket manufactuers want to support a low volume engine that only came in 92-96 preludes and not other cars. and if they are gonna concentrate on stuff, its gonna be on the top of the line h22. thats why you see mostly no-name stuff for the h23 with the exception of custom parts or parts that are swappable from the h22
