Rate my welds
What do you guys think. It was a practice for my welding certification. It 3/8 flat stock with a 1/4 gap. The sides are cut at a 45 degree angle. That is why there is a 1/4" plate welded on the bottom. I can just fill in the gap with as much weld as possible. I am told they cut them in 1" strips. The pull it bend it and x-ray it.

the rod is a 106. Its very similar to a 7018. Part of the reason it looks uneven is where I stopped and started me passes below the final passes. Oh this is also a flat weld.
I am going to try it again at work today or Monday I hope the next one looks cleaner.
