Default b20 vtec info??

hey guys. im just about ready to put my gsr head onto my b20 block. and i was wondering if i will need to switch my timing belt to a certain type? ill change it anyways but just wondering if there is a certain one i might need to get? let me know. thanks!

Yes but I forgot which timing belt. And I hope that you sleeved the block or its going to blow in a few months!!

shut up and quit regurgitating info that you've read somewhere and can't prove.

I'm fairly sure you need to use the gsr/itr timing belt. You should also use the gsr oil pump as well as the water pump.

I have a friend w/ a stock b20 bottom end and b16 head w/ itr cams and a ls trans in his eg and runs 14.5's all day w/ over 35k miles on the thing and he drives it for work every day.

If you don't want to split a sleeve tune the thing well because detonation is what kills the b20 block
cspeedracing has a good how-to on building a crvtec on their site.
