I need one for my JDM frontended WW kitted CRX. I can't find a VIS one anywhere anymore, and these look like the same thing. I contacted them, and they said they are not VIS, but made by another company. They have good feedback, and it seems to be my ony option. Have any of you guys purchased any of these?

 

My friend got one and he stated that it was ok. Try it out.

I allready bought it. did he say it fit well, look like the real thing, or do you have pics? I allready won it, I just want to know what to expect when it comes in.

 

Let me call him and see if he can email me some pics. He did not complain to much and believe me he is a very picky person. So I am assuming that it fit pretty good. Let me call him and I will get back to you.

My bumper came in today, and it is nice. I'll see if I can snap some pics tomorrow. I definitly reccomend this bumper to anyone.

I'm not sure. I will give a brief history of my quest for a replica bumper. I was planning on setting up a dealer account with VIS to purchase a few replicas from them. This was probally 3 months back. I never got the things together because I was busy with my real job. At that time someone told me that the replica was going to be phased out of production, not sure if it was true or not. I called VIS, and they said that they had 6 in stock, and the guy on the phone had no idea of the so-called discontinuation. Then a little over a week ago my buddy that owed me some money said he would go ahead and put my bumper on his card, for part of the debt. I called several VIS dealers, and none of them could get an answer from VIS, when and if they would have more bumpers available. I called VIS and got the same results.

I emailed them and asked, "Why do you have 2 different listings for the same product at different prices? It is the exact bumper pictured, it fits the JDM bumper lens, and is made to fit the JDM frontend right? Is it made by you or VIS?"

The replied, "No, its not made by VIS and manufactured by another company.

Its the identical listings, just different titles."

I made an offer of $150 on it, and they took it, so basicly $300 with shipping. Yesterday it arrived at my house, in great condition. I would reccomend it to anyone. My speculation is VIS, either sold their mold, or these guys made one. Either way it is nice, and I am happy with it. I will try and take pictures tomorrow, spent all day watching the LeMans Series, and Speed GT. I'm exhausted, and my garage is too dark.

 

that bumper does look pretty nice, take some pics when you get it put on, so we can see the fitment etc.

 

Will do, I just feel I got a good deal on it, and can't find one anywhere else and I know people are looking for them. So I figured I would pass my secret along.

 

well thanks for the tip, it seems like every once and a while you will find an actually good product on ebay
