Default Distributor hell

Alright I just got a dizzy from a guy who thought it was stock on his Z6. I saw the round cream plugs and was like expletive. It is a TD-02U dizzy from a Crx Si. (No wonder his car didn't work right.) Probably can't use it can i? I am buying the rest of the motor for parts, so I can let this slide.

I also have a TD-41U from a D15 sitting here. Probably can't use it either can i?

I also have a dizzy w/ an MSD cap and an Accel coil I think came off the original Hf, but I can't find the model number, but I know its OBD0. Used to run the car when it was OBD0 using a rpm activated switch. No can do there either probably?

I have PM6, P06 and a P28 here at the house. I am in the midst of a OBD1 swap on my 95 Z6 in my 91 Hf. Is there any combo of stuff that I can use to get this to work right?

All I want is a damn TD-42U dizzy, is it that freakin hard.

Alan: Yea but whoever sold him that motor lied to him, the distributor was not from that motor and that is what I wanted the most. I sure hope that is actually a Z6 in that car, if it isn't I am giving the distributor back and getting my money back. I can see partly why his car wasn't running.

Ryan: Yea but that won't help me. I have a Z6 head, not a Crx Si head. Its from a D15, I know it won't match with a D16 head, I have already tried.

Lol, that's what I was supposed to get tonight. That's what I have been trying to get for a while now. Now I just need to sell my collection of ECU's and dizzy's.

The solenoid was there.

Sucks that the main thing I wanted is the wrong part, yet again.
