Default Alarm issues

Hey, i also have had a weird problem with my alarm. When i first got the car, i never knew it had a alarm ... when i pressed the lock button a couple times the car would beep like the horn sound. One day i came home and i locked it, and i heard a bup bup...like the alarm locking it. Then i went to open the truck and the alarm went off, that i never knew i had. This stayed this way for a couple of days, then out of no where again it went back to its normal self, without the alarm. This happened another time a couple months later. I was wondering if there was any special way to activate this alarm that i dont know about, or if its jus a malfunction. Thanks.

Sounds like you described a chirp(not the horn) that sounds when you locked the door. If that's the case then someone threw an aftermarket alarm in there.

o ok do you think there is some kind of mess up with the wiring or something causing this to go on and off, but mostly off.
