98 accord possible fuel problem
My 98 accord has 140K miles. It would crank but not start one morning… So I took the fuel rail out to see if fuel is going through it and after I did that, and put it back.. it started… Since I was in there, I replaced the regulator. I drove the car for a day straight and it was doing ok… Next morning again, car would crank but would not start… After a few days, I try again and it starts…
I guess it must be the fuel filter that is located in the gas tank… My question is… since I am going to be replacing that filter, should I replace the fuel pump as well?
Anyone thinks it is something else? I cannot duplicate the problem.. It seems to happen once the car has been left overnight.. Gas tank is full.
Thanks for any advice!
No codes, etc…

Sounds like a fuel pump, or main relay problem. Next time it doesn't want to start listen for the fuel pump running when you turn the key to second position (before cranking). The fuel pump is supposed to prime when you turn the ignition on (run for two seconds, then stop).
ok, replaced the fuel pump...
When it is hot outside, car runs... When it is cold in the morning, it doesn;t want to start no matter how long I crank it.
Where is the fuel pump relay located at on a 98 accord LX? I cannot find it.
How can I check the main relay?
Any help would be greatly APPRECIATED!
