To answer the question, yes, my friend's indiglos burned out in his integra after 6 months of use. From experience, I've had mine a year and still work like new (depends on the company I guess). I uninstalled them because I like the stock cluster better, but the indiglos still work fine (traded them for something else)

 

No they will not burn out. The only thing that can go bad is the transformer or dim switch that they connect up to. Replace or fix that and you should have no problems..

Unless you broke a trace line in the actual gauges themselves that is..

 

My burnt out, but it was just the black box thingy...I just had that replaced, and they work just fine

 

mine is reversible indiglo gauge its not the 1 that is beaming at ur face at night lols

 

its easy to fix them if they burn out.........the only thing you have to worry about is being called a ricer
