In sixth gear in the RSX-S, what RPM is the motor at when the speed is 75mph?

 

what year?

mine is at 3800-4k because of the close gearing

i have a 2005

 

I didnt know they had different gearing through the years. I was expecting about 4K rpm.

a little much

im at like 3.7k-3.8k at 80 mph.

02-04 model

 

at 80 im above 4k already.

remember, the 05's have a much tighter gear ratio than the earlier ones

 

find gear ratio's. take 80 * gear ratio and u get ur rpm. i think thats how u figure it out. but its somewhere near 3500

In my 06 Type S I am at about 3600

 

02 6speed here......3750ish @80mph

225/50/15

 

The 02-04 has a slightly taller final drive; the 05-06 has the same FD as the EP3 and FG2.

 

'03 Type S 3,500 rpm @75mph....

 

about 4kish...i think lol...its basically just like a b16 tranny's 5th gear
