Anybody an Eclipse dealer or can get hookups? (Reconing Service Needed)
Like topic states, anyone can hook me up with getting my Eclipse reconed? It's not under warranty, and I don't think Eclipse would do it unless you are under warranty/authorized dealer. It's a 12" Eclipse Titanium Pro subwoofer. I need to replace the QCA (Quick Change Assembly) top voice coil/foam surrounding area. The foam surrounding area was busted. If anyone could hook me up let me know.
Thanks
Thanks
call RE and ask them. http://www.reaudio.com
Call RE to recone a Eclipse subwoofer? Is that even possible?
Edit: Just called them, they are in the middle of restructing or something, and are not taking any other company subwoofers but there own for reconing.

Eclipse will recone your sub but it costs approx half the original cost of the sub. Unless someone works at eclipse in cali, you are prolly not gonna get "the hook-up"

I've called them directly, they will not recone a subwoofer that is not under warranty / not from authorized dealer. And one company told me 399$ to get the top piece, uhmm. If anyone deals Eclipse lmk.

you have to take it to an authorized eclipse dealer, eclipse wont deal with you directly. I have sent subs away without reciepts to them to get reconed so, unless they changed this policy this is the route to take.
I have called Authorized Eclipse Dealers, they said they will not have anything to do with my subwoofer unless it is under their warranty/receipt. But I think one shop did quote me 399$ just to recone it. Sounds like a new subwoofer price.
for a 12" titanium pro $399 new? Not even close dood. They were $1000 brand new. If you were quoted $399 consider that a deal.
EDIT: eclipse no longer has the 12"Ti-pro listed on thier price list.

1000$ new? Heh, I'm not talking MSRP RETAIL here. The subwoofer even though was not under warranty, was like 250$-300$ new.
