Default RODS, opinions on high rev

Like it says, what do some of you who have built engines use for rods that handle revs in excess of 8500 rpms?

probe-
eagle-
jg-
crower-

etc.....

And for that matter, what valvetrain components are you useing?

Especialy those with a built D series if anyone here has one. Not bench racing, actual experience.
just curious.

i dont think stock rods would stand up to 8500 rpm. especcialy d series. im building an engine that revs to 8k and im using stock rods w arp bolts. for 8500+ i would use aftermarket rods. what kind of d series are u building?

I'm running eagle rods. With the exception of having to machine the gurtle to get them to clear, I was impressed.
Revved to 8500 quite a few times. Had to tear down the motor today, rods still look brand new.

You got pictures of how much you had to take out for the H-beams to get clearance?

Yeah stock D rods dont like 8000+ RPM. I had a fresh motor and steched a rod in less than 2000 miles.
