Default H22 swap

i'm swapping in a h22 in my 94 accord ex. i was wondering if i am able to use the f22b1 tranny or do i have to use the h22. i've been told by some that i can use the same tranny and by others i have to swap it. and which one would be better to use when it came down to it?

either one will fit just fine. which is better is a matter of opinion. you'll get better accelleration with the H22 transmission. (shorter gears)
