Default Few questions about boosting an H22

Hello, I'm sort of new here and I have a few questions. I'm not new to forums in general and yes I did search for about an hour and haven’t gotten too many definitive answers.

Ok first; I have a 92 H22 hatch and I want boost, I have my eye on the peakboost kit. One thing is I have a JDM H22 so its 10.6:1 CR...How would that fair on the 8Psi the peakboost kit is set for? Would I be ok with stock internals only running 5-8 PSi? I'm not looking for 10s or even high 11s, I'd be happy around 280-310 WHP.

mostly, is anyone running the kit with stock internals? how do you like it and would you recommend it?

Also if I wasn't on a budget I'd do a full build but I am, and like I said I'm not looking for rediculous HP numbers..

finally my setup is as follows if this is necessary:
--JDM H22a1
--Euro R intake manifold with intake manifold spacer
--H22 in an EG header
--Full mandrel 2.5 custom exhaust with maganflow muffler
--Ported and filled 68mm throttle body
--"Whale *****" intake
--HCP engineering poly mounts
--Fluidyne aluminum radiator
--P28 ECU with uberdata
--Fidanza flywheel
--ACT 2100 clutch
--DSS stage 1 axles
--JDM LSD

I think that’s it I forgot the brand of the header but whatever haha

Thanks a bunch in advance!

With AFR around 11.5-11.8 and timing at less than 18 degrees total you should be able to reach your hp goal @ 8-10 lbs.
When you get ready to open the engine, Mahle makes specific H22 pistons that are compatable with stock liners. Weak stock H22 ring lands are the problem for higher boost levels on H22s.

Mine is, although it is built. At the 8-10 lb. level it will be fine if it's tuned. With all the torque you'll have, smoking tires in 1st, 2nd & some in 3rd will happen easily, on street tires, unless you feather the throttle.
