Default Does anybody own a bike but not a truck?

So, I want to get an off road bike, but I don't have a big gas guzzler to carry it around in. I've been looking at CRFs lately, but before I put too much money away, I want to make sure it's at least possible for me to take it somewhere other than my backwater town. I was thinking maybe I could just get a friend to help me lift it into my hatchback, but I dunno if it'll fit. I've been looking at getting a CRF230F, but my gut tells me that there's no way in hell it will fit. Does anyone have a simpler solution than getting a hitch and renting a trailer when necessary?

A hitch and a trailer is prolly your best bet if you can not find a friend with a truck.
Or maybe a big van and suv I have seen people cram bikes in those.

Where in harrisburg are you> I live about 30 min or so from there.

Get a trailer. There's no way you're going to fit that in a hatchback.

Like Mike said, find a friend with a truck.

A trailer may not make it up through the route you'll need to take to get to a trail.

if you get a hitch and a small trailer then you'll be able to pull it. Imagine carrying 3-4 of your large friends - about the same amout of weight as a trailer and a bike.

i own a teg as well and a bolt in hitch (if you have the 2-door) costs around $127. The trailer will be extra obviously, but trying to fit it in your hatch is not a good idea.

I dont have a truck nor do any of my friends, if I ever needed to transport my bike I would just buy a cheap trailer and hitch it up y0.
