Default .:Baseline Run Today:. need opinions...

So I went to Church Automotive and did a baseline run today...

I have 154,000miles and the compression is 185,180,185,180. Here are my current specs:

(stock internals)
AEM CAI
SMSP Header
Magnaflow 2.5" Hi-flow cat
Mugen Catback
Unorthodox SS Pulley set

With the mileage/compression of the engine and the current setup, is this ok?
I'm going to have the engine fully rebuilt soon...just need to find a shop...

Kinda low IMO for flywheel power. If it's wheel hp, then OK...

Not bad, but when Corey somehow made 200WHP with that header on an otherwise stock H22... though I have not seen anyone repeat his results.

Anyway, thanks for posting up your results. What kind of setup are you working on? There is a prelude dyno thread around here somewhere, you could add your info to it.

doesn't look like you have anything to tune with, thinking that might help out a little.

just wondering if Corey have a 2000/fifth generation?
differant generations might yield differant results.

i have a fourth gen and was wondering what kinda results to expect with this header.
good to finally see a post.

It's to the wheels.

Well...the header was designed for the specs that I "will" have, not a stock motor.

My new specs will be:
AEM CAI
Stock TB
Euro-R Intake Manifold w/ Hondata Heatshield
Euro-R Camshafts w/ Fidanza Adjustable Cam Gears
Supertech or RM valvetrain kit
p28 w/ Hondata S300 tuning
Type-S Pistons OS bore
SMSP Header (built to these specs)
Magnaflow Hi-flow cat 2.5"
Mugen Exhaust (will change it to SMSP custom exhaust because current piping is not 2.5")
Unorthodox SS Pulley Set

</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have a 2001 Prelude running on Mobil1 Synthetic for most of the engine's life.

Shawn from Church said that I am running very rich and because of the stock IM's secondary, the torque curve at 4,000rpm dips down. That will be fixed once I get the Euro-R IM going. As for tuning the car w/ these mods, Shawn said that I would've been at 200whp. Plus this thing does have 150k miles on it.

But ya, thanks for all your inputs. Let me know if my future setup looks good or if you recommend going with something else feel free to chime in.

Yea i'd suspect tuning is holding you back here a great deal, so I wouldn't worry to much yet.

ya, i also have a little bottleneck going...2.5" hi-flow cat into a 50mm mugen piping...then after the resonator it's 60mm to the twin-loop and finally out the tip.
