Gaskets: JDM vs USDM difference?
ok so time's up and I got time to spend. I'm finally putting in my friend's old gear after he boosted his teg. Sometime this week I'll be putting in the following:
DC Sports 4-1 Header
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
AEM CAI
(might put in my test pipe but I need some welding done- and I'm an environmentalist at heart so don't like pollution but I do like power!)
Question(s)- I have a stock 96 JDM GSR motor. Will all the gaskets be the same? Is there a difference between USDM and JDM gasket fitments for the heads? I'm already ordering a Hondata IM Gasket from Ebay. I think I'll need a TB gasket and a header gasket, just in case, not to mention an oil change. hehe am I forgetting anything?
I can't wait to feel all that extra power and to hear that Bwaaaah sound again. I wish I could do a whole dyno before and after. Yea the power's not great and it will be a drastic change. and this car started out an LS!
