fresh GSR swap (hmotorsonline motor, tranny) limited to 3500rpm and runs poorly!
so, i just did a GSR swap and i'm running pretty slow... i think it is because i re-used d-series injectors on the engine. i'm throwing CELs 9 and 16, 16 being fuel injectors. 9 is a cyp error... i need to rewire my dizzy to make sure i'm cool. anyone know is d-series injectors are my problem? what are the symptoms of the system running lean? i think my error is the injectors due to my CEL... but then again sometimes it could be wiring. i'm going to replace the injectors with b-series ones, any other suggestions?

D AND B series injectors are the same as you have stated, 240cc. I love it when people try to sell Z6 injectors for $10 and GSR for $50, SAME DAMN THING!!! If it is trowing an injector code, you may have a bad injector or wiring is out of whack.
Only revving to 3500 is something in your distributor, and you said it's throwing the CYP code, so there you go, try a new distributor or borrow one and see what happens.

blah made a duplicate thread but watevers, update is that i'm using bseries injectors now (they're longer) and i'm still throwing cel 16... perhaps one of the ones i put in are bad? or how do i know what wiring goes where? my harness makes it up to the injectors and lay down like they did on the d-series... if they're flipped would i have to completely flip around the harness? if so that would not be so fun to do
i think i need to take this to a pro to check it out.
i rewired my dizzy and i only have cel16 + 3500rpm limit... no idea what else to try/do!

OK guys d-series injectors are the same as b-series so that may not be the issue. i know i used some d-series injectors in my first b-series swap that ran liek a champ
So this is an obd2 motor into an obd2 car using obd2 harness converting to obd1 harness? Or what exactly is what going into what?
More then likely your wiring is screwd up on the injectors. How is the motor idling? Rough, normal, there is no idle, etc? Do this little test. With the car idling pull each injector clip one by one for a second and see what the motor does then put it back and move over to the next. Come back to us and tell us what it did. More then likely that injector(s) is the problem.
If you think one of the GSR injectors are bad switch it back to the D.
