it might... but I wouldn't take the chance because you might float a valve.

Buy some ITR intake valvesprings and move your GSR intake valvesprings to the exhaust side. If you get portflow inners it should be good to 9k.

I picked up some newITR valvesprings off of len(thats his username) for a great price. Talk to him he's a good guy and will tell you what you need. I hope this helps you.

take off valve cover...
take off cam holder plates

take off camgears
slide off timing belt
align new cams
lube them good
install cam gears
install timing belt
install caps and plates
do a valve adj.
put valve cover on
turn car to on wait for fuel pressure and Start CAr!!!!!
(for best results get a chipped ECU or VAFC to raise VTEC engagement point)

be sure to mark the timing belt and the cam gear(this is the way i do it so i dont have to set the motor to TDC) or you can do the other way, and get to your crank pulley and turn it counterclockwise. (if you rotate it clockwise the rotation may cause incorrect adjustment of the timing belt). there should be a white mark on the crank pulley and a few other colors. line that white mark to a pointer on the block. other than that, follow the other guys. instructions. good luck dude
