I have a 98civicHB with a b16a and im just starting to auto X and its realy fun, but my question is what kind of setup are you guys doing to ur suspension and tires and what kind of sway bars do you guys have and What suspension do you guys recomend?
Pictures would be great.

My setup has been working well for me the last few events...It feels real good.
15x6.5 Rota GroupN's with 205/50 Dunlop Direzza tires, Skunk2 coilover sleeves, KYB AGX shocks, USDM ITR 22mm rear sway bar with Beaks kit, front rear upper strut bars, rear lower tie bar, Hawk HPS front pads & Goodridge steel braided brake lines.
I'll be ordering an ASR rear subframe brace within the next week or so.

it'll depend on what class you want to drive in. an EK hb is probably best suited for STS, and there's a bit of a formula for the "STS Suspension." go to http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com for an introduction to it.
now, with that out of the way, it would be much better for your development as a driver to drive the car as close to stock as possible for your first 1 or 2 seasons. that means stock suspension, stock tires, stock everything--reason being: stock equipment isn't as forgiving as sticky tires, stiff suspension, and other equipment and it forces you as a driver to develop much more precise skills. When you make a mistake, you know it, and correct it. When you have to drive the car w/in an inch of its life to be fast (which is the whole point) it makes you that much better when you do spend the $$$ and get the good stuff.
there's a bunch of sayings in a/x that paraphrase this: "a/x is 95% driver and 5% car." if the a/x'ers had a dollar for every guy in a fast car that was slower than a guy in a pos that could drive his pants off, they'd all be real rich.

My car is realy not to stock jus minor mods..Rota Track R 15by7 BFG tires in the front and 16by7 falken ziex in the rear with some generic coils and upper/ tower sway bar. and every thing is stock.
my first run was in the wet surface so i didnt do so well, I got alot of under steer and had to pull the E brake constantly. i been planing to buy new suspension but cant decide. and i want to but an rear sway bar but cant find the ITR one...

Well, i'd avoid using the ebrake like that, and consider maybe running an ITR rear bar, and leave everything else alone.
what a lot of people don't do is realize that the important thing in a/x is actually driving, vs. buying stuff to make the car fast.

Well said.
Also if you get the beaks quick swap kit (which I recommend) it comes with an ITR bar. And listen to the guys in the RR/AX forum, they have a ton of experience and know what they are talking about. I got some suggestions from them for a new suspension, and it has worked better than I could have imagined.

i say for now... go run to an event run and talk to some of the guys that have the same car as you.. ask what setup they have and maybe even ask for ride....
then run your car and get idea how your car handles out there....
i say for now buy some sticky tires like the AZENIS and play with tire pressures
prepared to get the autox bug

You should probably stop recommending that for '96-00 Civics. The ITR bar with the Beaks kit has been known to tear rear subframes.
