I am almost 100% positive that it will not work. Usually b series and d series parts are not interchangeable

'usually' key word
looking through my helms it appears they have the same number of bolts on the flywheel and in the same general location
i KNOW someone has tried this before i need first hand experience!!!

ahh don't think so man, d series clutch is tiny......i think the B series pressure plate and clutch plate is just a lil bigger.

Clutch failure is usually caused by the frcition disc not having enough material and starts slipping.
Thats all it is basically, a friction material (just like brakes).

I think as long as the friction disc has the same diameter, then i think it would fit.

As for the presure plate, the B series motor have stiffer springs to handle the extra Hps. Therefore, using a presure plate (if it fits) from a less powerful motor is not a good idea.

Friction disk is only $130. Plus machine shop of Flywheel for $35 bucks. 165 bucks total if you do the work yourself and you can beat the crap out of it again.
