well my moms got a 99 lude im thinking of takin off her hands and using as a daily driver, however i dont like the seats in the lude, i sit to hi in the car, i have lean the back to far back to be comfortable

so i was wondering if the seats out of my type r whould one fit in the lude, and if they do , do they sit lower is the main question

im goin to be replacing the seats in the R soon and whould have these since no one wants to buy them

I say since you have access to both cars... try it and see

 

im sure with some slight modifcation you can get them to fit. im 6"5' so im interested. let us know how it turns out!

thats interesting cuz i want my friend's JDM EK9 seats for my 4th gen. will be interesting if they will fit in a prelude

 

I think you can make them fit but you will need to do some modifying of your rails. I think there was a thread on this before....

I call bs everyone and their mother wants those seats.

 

show me a buyer and ill sell them in a heartbeat

 

Fitting them is not as difficult as you might think, ive forgotten which side but one side of the rail bolts directly onto the ITR seats, for the other side just drill out the spot welded mounting brackets (from prelude rail) and weld onto itr rails. Quite a simple process.

As for seating position, its much lower then factory prelude seats.
