'99 Acura CL 3.0 Auto - Noise and Vibration only when turning right PLZ HELP ASAP!
Howdy.
My car only makes the noise when turning right and especially when I accelerate(coming from left front). Some would think that this is obviously a CV boot/axle or wheel bearing issue, however we checked the CV boots/axles and they are fine. Also we actually replaced the left front wheel bearing but the problem didn't go away!
We even took the car to a reputable car mechanic and he said it was the left wheel bearing....so we're stuck.
Btw, the car has 79k miles on it. I know that these cars are prone to tranny problems but I need some professional/experienced opinions!
Thanks

I work at Acura here in Austin. What does the noise sound like. You say to replaed the left wheel bearing but I've test drove cars where a wheel bearing sound souned like it was coming from the right but it was actually the left side and visa versa. Might want to get that other bearing checked out. Can you descibe the noise?
yeah typically wheel bearings should be replaced in pairs at the same time so if the lt front is bad you should replace the rt front as well.
