Cost wise I spent probably $2500 total. Thats with the motor being $2250 and new plugs, wires, water pump, timing belt and radiator hoses.

I'm sorry...
Take out my D15 and drop in the B16 and have it hooked up and ready to run.

First time i did it it took me 2 days the second time 6 hours.

Make sure you make every wire with masking tape where they go or you will take an additional 2-3 hours just getting the electrical correct.

Also depending on your linkage and motor mounts to convert from a D series to a B series there could be a fitment issue so do some research and have all the right parts before you start.

this guy speaks the truth. my b16 1st time swap, a day and a bit with a friends help. 2nd time, 1/2 day for the swap to get it running, and another 2 hours another day to work out and clean up wiring

If you don't know what you are doing at all, id allow at least a weeks worth of time. That way you can have time for those trips to the hardware store for bolts and other stuff

Ditto, this is a very easy job. My first swap was a GSR in a coupe. Took 11 hours total until we were running up and downt the road in it. I have done quite a few for others since then and have it down to my quickest being 3 hours 45 minutes now start to finish.
