I have everything set for a b16a2 engine swap. i got a 91 Integra Cable Transmission for free with only 62k on it. i don't know what axles or intermediate axle to use. i have heard that if you use 94-00 integra axles on cable trans. fluid leaks out on the seal. also i bought a hasport hydro to cable mount. and i need to know what process i could use to use the transmission, knowing that eg chassis are hydro.. maybe i can fabricate something of some sort to use the cable transmission on my hydro car. any help would be great. Thanks.....

 

why would you want to go from hydro to cable? i dont understand

 

Use the axles that were made for that tranny and the intermediate shaft.

Easier to find a cable tranny and it's usually cheaper to use a cable tranny with the hydro conversion than it is to get a hydraulic tranny.

 

so your saying use the intermediate from a 91 integra and the axles from a 91 as well... also will they go on directly on cx hubs... what about the acutation for the cable transmission . i don't have the money for the hydro to cable kits. does anybody has a picture or a diy for a hyrdo to cable install

 

Purchase a kit and do it the right way...If you cannot...I would say that High Performance may not be up your alley as it can be a costly hobby. Stack your chips until you have enough and you will thank yourself for it later.
