Default time slip

well this was my first time racing at a drag strip and i think i did pretty good..... i have a 97 accord ex that i picked up a couple of months ago so far i have aem cai, greddy evo exhaust, n.o.s. 50 shot dry kit, i only had the bottle pressure up at 700 psi and its supose to be between 900-1000. Well anyways i ran a 15.5 1/4 mile. what do you all think... good, bad.. what should i do to drop the time with out a swap or turbo?

I ran a 15.0 @ 94mph on my DX with a 55 shot of ZEX. Work on you 60 foots.

60'. Yes. Id imagine your were 2.6~2.8. Figure one tenth off your 60' = 2 tenths off your E/T.

the cars as light as it can go there was less than 1/8 of a tank of gas left she and nothing in the car. the 18's i think slowed her down if i go again i'll put the stock wheels back on. but the cars an auto so that might be the problem.

do you know how much it would cost to change it and is it worth it... or for the money would it be better to change the trany and do a h22 swap?

if you do it you should do it when you swap your engine...a lot of shops like to charge you out the *** but you can do it yourself for around $300 if you find the tranny in a junkyard or something...from what i hear the clutch installation is the hardest part and that's not even much of a challenge i guess (but i wouldn't know because i've never done it...this is only from what i've heard)...doesn't seem too challenging...but it's definitely worth it!

swap!...the f-max is pretty much the most you can do to an f22 without getting a lot of custom parts and materials in there...but an h22 has endless possibilities and a lot more aftermarket support...keep it an ongoing project yo!
