not 100% sure but an si is an si is an si... if ya get what im saying.. do you just need the engine bay harness...like do you still have the resistor pack and what not??
88 Si harness is different from the rest - at the driver's side shock tower it has a square 6-wire connector where the rest have a round 8-wire connector

the 89-91 have 4 wires for the injectors (red, yellow, brown, light blue), 1 wire for the Injector Resistor Box (yellow/black), 1 wire for the Fast Idle Control Valve (blue), 1 wire for the EACV (blue/yellow) and 1 wire which is power for both FICV and EACV (Black/Yellow) in that connector - 88 doesn't have Fast Idle Control Valve - its' connector has the 4 wires for the injectors (red, yellow, brown, light blue), 1 wire for the resistor box (yellow/black) and 1 wire for the EACV (blue/yellow) - it has no power in that connector for EACV - power is in the connector on the passenger side

so does only someone with a 88 si engine can make use of the 88 Si harness when doing a swap?
does that make 88 Si harnesses more valueable or less? just curious. trying to understand the difference.

yup, the 88 is a lil diff
question #2, I think they are valued about the same
