I meant if a buddy of mine in a RSX can come.

Even though Radiohead is great, a concert doesn't beat track days in my book.

Radiohead rarely has a show in the US, they're only playing in san diego and berkely this year. If I can get tickets to berkely, I'll get rid of my san diego tix and do this track event. Pairs of radiohead tix are selling on fleabay for over $200.

Things to do: Install stock intake manifold, install the stock headers, install stock ecu, change oil filter, change diff fluid, get tires, etc etc etc.

I guess you could come to our event at a later date, I want one once a month if it's possible. And the prep, you should be able to do that **** in your sleep by now.

Prepping a car for the track is very important and shouldn't be done in the late hours of the night but that's hard to avoid.

 

I've been guilty of it, and so have you. It's all for good fun though.

I've lost the motivation I've had in the past to make track events since I attended too many of them. I remember one of the last events I attended was redline's streets event. I packed up and left after lunch since I got bored. So you could say I'm pretty jaded by it all but it's still fun.

Very very very important to everyone that shows up to make sure their car is properly ready for a track event meaning a full check up is necessary before the event and doesn't hurt to inspect the car before each session (wheel nuts torqued properly, brake fluid level, brake pad condition, oil level, coolant level, tire condition, etc etc.

 

I take care of the tech for the guys I know. The rest of them gets a prep checklist, and get's tech'd by me personally, then again the morning of the track day. No failures yet, besides a few smoked brake pads.
