Coilovers on Si EP3 ?
Hey All,
First post here.
I'm tryina figure out how to make my 2005 EP3 handle better. Dunno a whole lot about suspension, but enough to know that mine SUCKS! I'm just reading up articles on TireRack.com. tryina learn.
One guy's tellin me to go w/Eibach Pro Springs, but my friend told me that I should go for coilovers because I can address the ride height and run a higher spring rate. I tend to think he may know what he's talkin about.
I found this calc, but i's too much math for me -> http://www.proshocks.com/calcs/imotion.htm
It's a lot to wrap my brain around right now. @ work now...
So if I go w/coilovers, which kit can I get on my EP3?
The Tire Rack carries:
Eibach Pro-Street Coil-Over Kit
H&R Coil-Over Suspension Kit
H&R Coil-Over RSS Club Sport Kit
H&R PCS Coil-Over Suspension Kit
Hotchkis Tuning Competition Coil-Overs
None or those kits will fit on my EP3. They said that H&R Coil-Over Suspension Kit will be available soon. Should I wait? What's a good kit to get?

For an EP3, do it right and get a set of Mugen Sport Suspension. It's plug and play, ready to go. No need for adjusting or camber correction. It sets the tie rods at a drivable angle and the overall setup won't hurt the ride. Ask anyone besides myself who has the Mugen SS, you won't be dissapointed.
Right now for my EP3, I'm moving to Buddy Club N+ only for the fact I'm running DC5R hubs and the +60 DC5R wheels are rubbing my fenders in the rear with my 225/45R17 RT-615 tires.
