Default Clutch

ok this is kind of a stupid question but i just want to make sure.

I have an 88-89 ZC DOHC zc engine, and im running my stock dx tranny. When i search for a clutch do i look under 88-89 civic, or 88-89 integra? most of the parts for this engine come off of an integra so i thought i might ask. Also where can i find an si tranny?

you have to use the one that matches the flywheel.

The flywheel is on the motor, the clutch has to bolt to that. So the other way around.

all of the parts below the top of the block (except timing gears) on the DOHC ZC are same as 88-91 CRX/Civic Si D16A6 - most of the parts above the top of the block are the same as 88-89 Integra D16A1 - clutch and flywheel is the same as CRX/Civic - the clutch you need is first determined by the year of the transmission - 88 transmissions have different spline count on the input shaft - once you determine year of transmission, the clutch you need is further determined by the year of the flywheel - 88-91 flywheels use 200mm diameter clutch and 90-91 flywheels use 212mm diameter clutch
