Mugen doesn't make a cf trunk

Mastergrade has crappy customer service, your best bet is to try seibon.

its not a mugen trunk, it is a mugen style trunk made by mastergrade, seibon only has an oem trunk, the mastergrade trunk looks better and the emblem is shaved.

Mastergrade was bought out by Cwings. Try Cwings. I have a CF trunk with no emblem, but has keyhole and 3rd brake light. Looks stock, just the way I like it.

what does 'mugen style' mean if mugen doesnt make a CF trunk, and if the trunk is just a lightweight replica of OEM anyway?

perhaps its made to follow the lines of the mugen hardtop? shrug.

that is the trunk i am refering to. it has nothing to do with the fact that mugen doesn't make one. that is what mastergrade called it (mugen style)and it is the best looking carbon fiber trunk out there. i want it.

It's most likely called the "Mugen-style" not because it copied a Mugen branded trunk lid (Mugen doesn't manufacture or market one), but because it's probably a 1x1 CF weave (albeit, wet cf).

The 1x1 weave would match the weave on the Mugen CF hardtop as well as the Mugen CF hood. Seibon on the other hand uses a 2X2 weave pattern for their cheaply done, low quality Mugen knock off hardtop and hood.
