door & fender trim...how to take it off?
Hey guys, im in need of a door but I dont wanna just look for a 88-89 model door (different trim). It would be a better chance to find a 88-91 door so before I buy it I just want to know how would you un-clip the trim on the door. 88-89 and 90-91 are different trim, but I need the 88-89 trim. Do you gotta take off the panels and do it from the inside or is there a way to do it from the outside? Please help me out cause I heard its really easy to break them
I'm new to ef's so i don't know for sure. But I'd assume it's just like my eh... should just be little clips behind the door-panels etc. Take off one of the door-panel in your car and check.
Enlighten me here... Whats the difference between the 88-89 and the 90-91 trim? I have a 91' and don't really like how big and nasty the trim is.

yeah, just take off the door panels, and squeeze the clips toghther with plyers and it comes off, there should also be a little nut on the end of the door also that you have to take off, the difference is, 88-89 is wider than the 90-91

my lazy *** did that,,and even working slowly i basically broke every clip..its better to take the door panel off,,then just squeeze the clips and push out..
