My 2000 Civic SI b16a2 isn't running right. My CEL is on but i can't scan it rite now cuz my car isn't regisered. I checked all vaccum lines, cleaned my throttle body, changed my spark plugs, and checked eveything possible that could cause the car to run shitty at idle. Everything looks good in the engine bay. When i start my car, it runs normal and warms up at regular rpms. After it warms up, i rev it a couple times to about 3-5k rpms and then let off. The idle drops to about 900rpm, then 300-400, and starts to bog and shoots either oil or fuel out the exhaust. To keep it from dying, i have to let off the t body slowly but if i let off really fast, the car just dies. Im not sure whats causing this but i strongly believe its the after cat O2 sensor. One of my friends say that a bad after cat O2 sensor can cause the car to run rich which might be happening to me and causing residue to spit out the exhaust. I NEED UR HELP IF ANYONE KNOWS!!!!!!

 

check the code!! since when does a car have to registered to check a code? and stop revving it to 5k when u dont know whats wrong w/ it!!

 

I can check the code by paper clip right? so i was wondering how would i decode the blinking CEL?

 

count the short and long blinks
long are your first digits
short are your second
