Ok so im tryin to get a new stock front bumper for my 94LS and the guy told me that it is two pieces....the top is $70 and the bottom is $200! I thought it was all one piece? AND if it is two pieces..is the lower part just the lip?

 

Bumper is one piece and goes for more than 70 bucks and a lip is over 200 so i have no idea what this guy is telling you

Contact Len, h-t sponsor and works in the parts department at an Acura dealership and he'll probably will hook you up with a better price, and thats the dealership he works at.

but you need part 1 and 2, correct? i think that is what he means maybe? #1 is the part with the lights, # 2 goes under, it is like a lip, almost, and finally, the lip goes onto that. #6 would be the OEM ITR lip etc

 

I think Part 2 is that plastic skid plate looking piece that goes under the car and attaches to the bumper. And tat goes for 100 bucks, not 200. Whatever is the case something's not right with either the prices or the parts the guy is telling you about. But if he really is giving you a new bumper for 70 bucks go check it out.

yea, i am not 100% sure. i don't want to tell him one thing and be wrong, but i think that the stock front bumper is indeed 2 pieces. look closer at that picture.

 

I think you may be right, i think i was mixing the 94 and 98 bumpers. Go to you local acura dealersip or contact Len and see what they say you need.

It is 2 pieces. Thats why when you go on partstrain.com and find a bumper cover, it only shows half of it. The bottom half is held on by screws and clips.

100% sure 2 pieces. would be 3 w/ a lip.

 

The top is the bumper cover... the lower is the half lip. The bumper you would think is the more expensive part, the lip you can buy anywhere. Ebay is hella cheap for stock bumpers and the plastic turns out better when painted.
