Default rebuilding b18c

2 months ago i did this.................

I just got my head back and it looks great. thanks to billy and C.W. Pence.
full omni power valvetrain and bronze valve guides.......

yes, that is the same head...........

stage 1 port and polish...........

in goes skunk2stage2 cams and gears.........

and last my valve cover.......

my block will be done this week with oversize p30 pistons, arp bolts, shotpeened gsr rods, and polished crank. i'll post pics when i get it. then comes the dyno.

I'm not 100% sure but my buddy is gonna get his car tuned in Tampa and this guy is suppose to be sick. Just not sure if he does Neptue or Crome, but i think its Crome.

Looks like they did a good job on the rebuild.

Ali

the gsr rods should be good to rev to 9k being shotpeened and fitted w/arp bolts.
plus i wanted to do 2.0L but don't have the money to do it all right now, so this was the less expensive alternative.

your set up should be pretty bad ***.... sounds like what I'm currently working on, except opposite. My head is still in the shop while my block is done and ready to go. Hope your planning on getting it tuned after its all together

thanks for the comments.
i will post pics of the block and assembly when it gets done.
then comes the dyno and tuning, but i still need to find a good crome tuner here in orlando. i know a guy in tampa, but i don't wanna take that drive untuned. let me know if anyone knows a good crome tuner in the area.

motor goes in this week followed by a mild street tune. after 500 to 1000 miles she'll be strapped down on the dyno for a long tuning session with 93 octane and a seperate chip tuned at 100 octane.
