JDM vs EDM - EG rear inner tail lights
For anyone interested in the difference between JDM vs EDM rear inner lights. This may help you.
Finally got both sets and wanted to post up with some interesting details.
Hope this info helps anyone who may have been as curious as I was.
I saw an EG with dc2 rear fogs the other day at the 562 meet and shuck my head. Then the owner had the nerve to tell me later that they were made for the eg.
Hope you guys don't make the same mistake or are misinformed about rear fog lights for egs. They do exist and were designed for Euro spec egs. The function of the rear inner lights served a different purpose in the U.K. and other Euro countries. The Egs never had a factory option cool little rectangular red rear fog light for the back bumper but rather had it incorporated into the lens itself.
Factoid: Rear Fog Lights are a requiremenet by law in european countries do to bad weather driving conditions. By pressing the factory rear fog light switch, a bright light is activated at the rear of your car to alert drivers from the behind.

im from UK, my car had H4's std (didnt know they didnt come std anywhere else) and i have cut the very top off the blocked off fog light hole to have all 4 lights working as brake lights, under the plastic block off its exactly the same as the other side even with the thread to screw the bulb holder into

europe is foggy.
It serves its purpose cause if the cars out here in Italy did not have rear fog lights then there would be too many accidents. That light is so bright you can see it from a very good distance away.

I'll have the comparison pics for you this Sunday night.
Pics will be taken at dusk. One pic with just driving lights activated and another pic with the rear fog light(s) activated. I may plan to rig up both rear fog lights to a switch which will activate a dual filament bulb.
