this guy is selling a USDM 01 type R tranny and im thinking aobut picking it up. is the 98-01 USDM type R tranny 4.7 final drive? or 4.4? and what does the final drive do? and also. before getting ripped off.. how would i know that it really IS a type R tranny? thanks

 

i did a search and all i found is that the USDM and JDM 96 spec is 4.4 fd. and the JDM 98 is 4.4 what about the USDM 98 spec one?

 

The 98 spec is a 4.7, all usdm trannies are 4.4

 

is a b16 with LSD tranny EXACTLY the same as the USDM ITR tranny?

 

itr "S80" has an lsd b16 " S80" will not.
