alpine 9856... whats DEFEAT do?

i was messing with the deck and was curious as to what this feature does. anyone know? thanks.

Turns off all equalizer settings. In other words, if you have bass, or time correction adjustments, it will ignore those and not let you change them.

Yep. Very handy for adjusting the system. Easy to go back to baseline.
