Just pulled into the driveway.

I hear one cylinder making a very loud clicking/knocking noise. Sounds kinda like a wearing CV axle clicks when you turn the wheel.

The knock increases/decreases with RPM's.

I can feel the knock in the clutch.

The transmission goes in and out of gear and engages fine.

I've had a known oil leak.

...Please tell me my engine didn't just go to ****...

Do you check the oil regularly and keep it topped off?

I fear the worst for you man, it sounds like a spun bearing.

Take a minute to drop the oil pan and inspect for shavings. . . .

 

That's the problem. I believe it will have been my own negligence that cause the problem. Any other ways I can diagnose the problem?
