My lude is automatic right now, i was thinking of switching over to manual but saw a JDM H23 LSD tranny for like 700 bucks on ebay and was wondering if it would be cheaper to get that installed or to switch over to a manual transmission. Im wanting to swap to manual or an LSD auto soon becuz the one i have in my car is original at like 161k the engine has like 60k on it, i had to swap out for a newer engine cuz my other one blew a piston.

So im wondering if its worth going to a LSD H23 JDM auto tranny or just swapping over to a manual. I also depending on how much either or the transmission things cost and how long they take plan to put in a turbo by next summer or the summer after that. But its only gunna be like a stage one turbo to begin with. And yes im keeping the H23 for somethign different.

 

I had almost the same dilema, definately go for the manual conversion best thing I ever did and probably will. I used to drive my auto like a manual 1,2,D3,D4 I would rev that thing all the way to 7grand just to try to make it alittle faster get a manual tranny wont have to worry about a thing.

 

im just curious to get around a price how much did urs cost to do?
