i just swaped my motor for a replacment h23 and when i tap the gas it sounds like its choking but when i keep that gas pressed it sounds fine and when i let go it sounds fine
but there is a lag or choking like when i drive 40mph and put it in fifth is sounds like im taking in water from my intake but the sun is out and theres no water anywhere Dry.
can it be my vacume lines or a snesor gone bad or something not pluged in right i do have a check light on?

 

seems like u figured out your own problem at the end of ur post...find out why its throwing a code and fix it

 

ok i changed my vacume tank and the check lite is still on and when i tap the gas it sounds like it wants to cut off but it still revs what could this be

 

what hoses connect to the top of the transmittion and is it bad to run my car with those hoses unconnected

 

Pull the goddamn code.

 

goto autozone or advance and get the code.
