hey, i was wonderin if anyone had gottin rid of this out of their civic for that nice smooth look, if so anyone have pics?

ya but those are CX's and they have the black rubber mouldings.. mines a (1998) EX and its all painted.

iv seen 92-95 ex coupes without the mouldings..on here some where..

its called shaving.... dee dee dee

people do it...i think it looks like poo but thats just my opinion

and not to be the JDM bandwagon ***** but I think the JDM thin moldings look a million times better

idk whos that car is but i hope he dont mind me using that pic, but he has his shaved and it almost doenst look right..no offense...it looks alot better shaved off integras and stuff

The 92-95 VX and CX doesn't come wif the side moldings. I think it actuallly look fine like that. It's when people shave the side moldings off and cover up the crease (spell?). Some people even shave it off of their EK's. I say as long as they leave the crease when hey take off the moldings, then it's fine.

i agree w/ feriokid...i wouldn't shave it b/c i've seen even the best weld/bondo job crack after some time...i'd go w/ the jdm thin side moldings and call it a day...

yeah i saw like 2 cars with shaved moulding and they dont look too fly on an ek. i say THIN SIDE MOULDINGS!

This is something I'd like to know as well. I've got an EK and my side moldings have chipped paint from car door hits. I don't think shaving looks all that bad, but for the time and money, JDM thin moldings are a much better solution IMO.

I had a white EK (similar to the one above) and I had all the moldings shaved off. I got a big fat door ding right above that line 2 weeks later and it made the whole side look like pooh.

it looks too plain without. The side molding, shaved off wouldnt look bad, but i think it looks better with.
