b18c with skunk2 valvesprings/retainers what RPM you running it to?
So I have a b18c in my possesion with skunk2 valvesprings and retainers with oem valves.
What rpm can I rev this to safely from a valvetrain standpoint? I know the lower end needs to be beefed up as well, but just from a valvetrain standpoint running stock cams what RPM?
Also, what's the difference between the regular skunk2 valvesprings and the pro valvesprings? Are the pros just stiffer to run bigger cams, or are they all around better? Worth the extra money on stock cams?

We have been bouncing the tach all day at 9,5 for several months now.

Hmmm. Yeah after reading up on skunk2 valvesprings, it sounds like they are hit and miss. Some break randomly, others have never had a problem with them.
The head on this b18c I just got has had 2 springs break on it already.

I def got the "MISS" end of those, I had 2 retainers break the outer edge of them and the only thing that kept me from dropping a vlave was that the inner spring somehow was still on the innside piece fo retainer. It happened on 2 like that. I think I drove around without knowing for like a week. I a mglad I didn't blow anything. I will try not to ever use SK2 retainers again. I use omni power now.
