Default ebay catback

anyone here rockin an ebay catback? can i see some pics? i've searched the internet with nothing.. pics, soundclips, anything.. how have they held up? im looking to purchase one of these soon...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

they pretty much look like the same one..

im looking to have this work with my turbo setup soon. so i figured the 2.5" pipe would be good and its a little cheaper than some of the cusotm exhaust prices i've gotten around my area

Just fyi I bought this off ebay about a year ago. Sounded great til the last month or so. Thats when i started noticing the packing coming out of the exhaust and sticking all over the back of my car. Now it sounds like sh*$. You get what you pay for no doubt.

exhausts are definitly a get what you pay for thing, you pay for quality of the exhaust. sumthing cheap isnt going to have great quality or sound opposed to sumthing that is very expendisve ie: rsr, fujitsobu, buddyclub, kakimoto ect those are very good quality exhaust, rsr are hand crafted in japan.... even the greddy are known to fall apart, but as for sound and quality you wont be seeing much of it with a cheap ebay exhaust

and since nobody has the money for the "super jdm" exhausts that are rip-offs you can always go custom,,which is my suggestion to you or anyone....

and my exhaust off ebay never fell apart how you're saying..lasted 3 years through nj winters,,and it always sounded good..sure it broke in after a while but it never did what you say..

custom is a good way to go, you can build to suit and build to spec, but normally a good custom exhaust could run you 300 plus dollars depends on bends, materials, piping diameter ect...... i wouldnt say ebay exhaust are bad but you can find better exhaust for cheap if you look hard enough

yes im starting to lean towards not purchasing this item... i liked it because it was priced very reasonably!!! and it was 2.5in pipe.. im looking for a 2.5in pipe for my turbo build.. now i know i can go custom.. but i know they want atleast 300 for just a custom exhaust and more for a custom dp.. so i figured if i can save a little here it would be nice.. where can i purchase the RSR? i've seen some on other cars and i love them.. any other 2.5in exhaust systems for our crx's?

is sound what you are looking for or performance? bc on the efs you have a few choices of piping routes you could take for performance, or you could do a custom exhaust and get the sound just right

The thing with EF exhaust's is the rear spare tire well is low to the ground. You really need to find a low profile muffler if your worried about scraping. My EF is lowered about 1.5" and I have no issues scraping my exhaust system.

It's a flowmaster muffler, it performs, not blings. And those tires are hoosier a04's for autocross. Flame away if you want, but good luck catching me at the autocross.

How'd u get them to stick out like that? I'd like that if it were a little less extreme...
