hi, i wondering if i could put 90-91 corner light on my 1989 crx. Would it fit or i have to do mod to it???

 

They won't just bolt on. You would need to swap the headlight frames with ones from a 90-91, and get the special clips that attach the corner lights to the fenders where the 88-89 screws go in the side.

 

can't you just buy ones meant for 88-89? I'm sure you can find amber or clear for that model year

 

where can i buy those corner lights for cheap ?? i want the clear

 

i have seen them on ebay everyday

 

and the 90-91 are always way more expensive han the 88-89

 

how much they go for for a pair?

 

i would of picked the 88-89, but i don't like the 2 srew holes.

This pretty much covers it.

 

Becarefull when u buy corner lights off ebay, these are 88-89 corner lights with the screws, these were originaly for his 89 hatch when he orderd them it said 3 dr and they gave him 4 door ones and we returned them and exchanged and got the same damn one so i took them and broke my inserts to make them fit my 91 civic since they are for the 4 door. And again we orderd from a different seller and guess what the same exact package design and again they exchanged it and got the same **** so if anyone needs 88-89 civic sedan amber corners pm me

 

well which corner light would look better on a yellow crx???

 

Amber lenses with the screw holes suck. Go Stanley clears.

 

yeah it really depends on the cars color amber light on yellow crx might not go to well, but on my black hatch they look great.

 

wat i did on my 89 is chop off a tad bit on the fender to get it to slide through. i have 90 headlights too though, so it screwed right in and it holods fine. its not completely flush but it looks good to me. you can use it just put a little imagination into it and it'll be fine

 

id go with the clear ones they just look better

You don't have to cut anything if you've already got the 90-91 headlights. All you need are four plastic clips (#22) from the 90-91 to stick in the screw holes in the fender. The clips are $1.24 each from SLHOndaParts.com...

 

Personally, I like the stock ones. The clear ones normaly don't seem to be a faded as the headlights are which looks a bit funny.

I feel it's not wise to ask people that you don't personally know & see on a regular basis what will look good on your car. You shouldn't really value a "community" opinion so much. If you cannot decide what you like better, then don't buy any. Then you won't risk being stuck in a "trend". Besides, your money is much better spent on something you KNOW you want (or just invest it )...

 

it makes since homie i no what i like im contemplating on ambers but maybe i should have just asked for pics of a silver crx with ambers.lol everybody's opinion is cool to me in the end i still decide my on destiny.

in my opinion you should leave the car alone..it looks good as is with the stock corners..
