I cannot seem to find anyone that carries synchros whatsoever, ecspecially carbon coated ones. I have been waiting on Gear-Speed for like 4 months on their backorder for B series cable tranny's. I have a Y1 and need synchros like yesterday 4 years ago. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Even if it is for some stockies, better then bad ones.
i orderd some gear-speed carbon coated syncro's from this guy: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1085206
but he's a distributor for gear-speed. BUT if gear-speed has the ones you need on back order then chances are he wont be able to get them for you either.
but its worth a shot i suppose.......PM him and find out.

What do the dog teeth look like on the synchro sleeve and the corresponding gear? If they have been grinding they are most likely in need of replacement too.

Inspect the sleeve and gear before you replace just the synchros. Before reassembly you can also remove the shine from the cone on the gears with 600 grit sandpaper for extra initial bite.
