my friends want me to put my car in hot import nights but i dont know if i should... what do you guys think?

I dont think Type R's are ricey enough for Hot Import Nights, unless you put rims, aggressive-*** kit, 68" aluminum tail, half a million stickers, supersonic metallic lime green pearl paint job. But watch out, I know people who had their cars keyed at Hot Import Knights. HIN in Dallas last year was crazy, people were throwing chairs and sh*t. So if you dont mind a big dent in your car, go ahead.

 

think about all of the people who will be looking at your car in a "bad" way.

if you can get it ther and back without anyone following you... and can cover you vin... and keep her safe...

Make sure you take a flash light, The last hot import night I went to was " A car show in the dark, with smoke,strobes and flashing lights" I could tell which car was which.

 

Import nights is kind of sketchy. Like other said, its pretty dark and you never know what can happen. If you want to show your car, I suggest you do it at a day time show. Much better.

 

im registared for the show in atlantic city, nj....i look at it this way i get in and dont have to wait in a huge line...and its not that much money to registar......but im taking off my liscen plate and covering up my vin....and im going with over 10 people so someone will always be by my car.....so if you want to do it just do it...and make sure you always have someone by your car

I would put it in, most people will pass it by, but the few who recognize a nice car will like it. Ive entered Hot Import Nights for the last 2 years.. I think I have always gotton last place, but hey at least you get to park your car overnight in an enclosed area!

 

Dude, it is cool enough to put in the show, but just think how many heads you'd turn with some Spoon gear.

This is just a personal view...

I used to go to shows to see CRX's with Lamborghini doors, and Purple Accords with R33 Front ends...Widebody EK's & Orange Cream Pearl White w/ a touch of Firepepper Red colored Eclipses

Now the show scene has become stock-looking JDM cars...buy an Integra, slap a JDM front end on and some Volks, and you've got a showcar. Not in my book That stuff is boring to be honest.

Would I rather drive your car than some hideously colored Silvia-Converted Integra, absolutely. Which one would I rather see at a show...thats different. I think the JDM scene is cool for what it is, but in terms of shows...I miss the crazy, wild **** that used to be rampant

i dunno... all you have is a R convertion... and not to be disin' but there is alot out there. if just for show i say go for it. if you gonna enter to win something you're gonna need more then just that.
