Default 96 hatch gc coilovers and shock question??

I got 96 dx hatch with some blown struts and some egay coilovers the owner b4 me put on. I was looking into buying some ground control coilovers. I know u can order them in custom spring rates. I also was thinking about getting the koni yellows or the kyb agx. I was wondering which would be better. if the koni's were worth the extra money. Also should i just go with what spring rates they already offer. I'm wanting something stiff but rides good i drive up and down a mountain everyday for work. so alot of 25 mph turns I wanted to be able to eat some up if i wanted to. ride quality is my main concern after driving on what i have now ne thing is gonna ride better. Right now if i hit a bump of ne size in the road i can bring the rear end off the road. I've been searching but i havent found what i was looking for so thanks guys ne help is great.

If you are daily driving the car, use the rates which ground control sends you.
koni > kyb agx

I agree... Off-the-shelf rates, and Koni sports would be the best for street duty. The rears remain soft enough to keep major bumps from kicking the rear out. You don't need custom rates unless your trying to change/correct some very specific handling issues for the racetrack...

Just make sure you specify your GC sleeves will be used on Koni shocks, otherwise you will recieve incorrect sleeves.
