Default ITR 1/4 Track times?

I want to know what everyone runs and what you had and what you did to run it.

I Ran my car at the track for the first time last friday at VIRGINIA MOTORSPORTS PARK. all i had was an AEM cold air intake and a JDM 4-1 header..i went header out and took out my interior...my very first run was a 14.3......i bogged at the launch...as i said before it was my first time and i couldnt get my launch as good as i do on the streets..i ran constant low 14's still trying to get my launch right....then my very last run i hit a 13.9 with a 2.4 60ft......i hit a 2.2 60ft on a earlier run but i tacked out a little bit in first gear and i hit a 14.3 again...
I think i can get it lower with the same mods....hoping 13.7 same mods street tires...

Even I have a hard time believing that. Especially with a 2.4 60' it just ain't happening. You must be leaving something out such as "oh I frogot to tell you guys my car only weighs 2,300lbs".

I dont see what's so hard to believe about it. I mean they run a mid 14 stock, and with intake and open headers(I think he was trying to say that) high high high 13 wouldn't be so hard. And isn't 100lbs supposed to take off .1 off your e.t. or is that just a bs theory.

Ok after reading it a few times I got that he must have been running open header. Well I got darn close to that with the same basic mods so if he stripped everthing out I guess it might be possible. 102mph trap speed is pretty freaking fast and a 2.4 shows that there is still improvement to be made. My best run wasn't on one of my best 60's either, but some proof would be nice.

its possible. If he tried to duplicate the same time it would probably be hard. Everyone has their good runs. My buddy in a stock CRX would always pull 16's but on one lucky run he got a 15.3 . go figure. Its certainly not out of reach, just uncommon among the average.

and no i dont belive in santa fusionR.

To settle the dispute why doesn't JDMan just post up his timeslip?

Sorry to say this, but I will call BS before I see the time slip.
Even with the time slip, I still doubt are the AEM CAI and JDM 4-1 the only mod.

i do know someone that ran a 14.38 with an AEM cai and street tires...thats it and he ran a 14.38...so it may be possible with a great launch and 60' times and a gutted interior....but it would have to be one hell of a driver.....i wish i could drive that well

14.38 and 13.9 has a BIG difference.

Can someone post the slip? I am too lazy to register.
