Why? If you are going to run a full cage on the street you are an idiot unless you will be wearing a helmet everytime you drive your car. Is this going to be a street or track car?

All vtec motors require a cage for the insane of low end power they make mostly the b16 though.
True story.

God you guys are ******* ********! Seriously the kid is asking for pics, not to be flamed on. And if any of you douche bags had a ******* clue as to NHRA track rules you would know that you need a cage if you run a certain time. And assuming he puts a h22 in a crx it should be pretty damn fast in a straight line. Thus requireing the cage. I dont post on here for this reason, you guys are *********. But I figured I would make my presence known with this one.
yeah nhra requires a cage,....if the car is running 11.50's or faster. i highly doubt this car will be running anything close to that.

First off it should be asked in the drag racing forum if the car is going to be a drag only car. A roll cage belongs no where on the streets.

agreed with everyone, but does a roll cage improve structural integrity of the chassis all in all? i mean what if its a street-daily-driven car...which likes to attend the auto-x events...can a mild roll cage help in just chassis stiffening? which ultimately might better when dodging cones?

Hey there cheif you are tough guy for 3 posts. I think you need to go back to original source.
"i want to put a roll cage in my 89 crx si do you guy have pics"
Okay what sanctioning body? NASA, SCCA, Auto-X, NHRA, drag see what I am getting at ******!
Do not ask vauge questions and expect to get answers. Also there is a search feature for a reason.
I run in NASA so my mind goes to road racing and cages in RR/AX

whoopie freakin doo....H22's don't require cages, there are people running H22's with no cage.
The OP still hasn't told us his intent.
So guy_from_nerk you need to STFU take it back to the source.

i had an autopower "rollbar" in my car before i sold it for a few hundred dollars
</TD></TR></TABLE>
i have an autopower too. i drive my car on the streets. my head doesnt come anywhere near the bars or cage or whatever you guys want to call it.
sure if your head hits it, youre in for a world of hurt, but then again, if your in an accident that bad... youre head is probably bouncing around anyway.
i like it, it stiffened up the chassis a lot. better than any c pillar or strut bar could ever do.
i'll dig up pictures for the OP.

I remembered that picture from the EF meet thread. I really want to get one of these Autopower bars for my car and hit up some open track days.
